Vice President of Business Development, Privia Medical Group

Rob Lemos currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development for Privia Medical Group of Georgia. He is a 2011 MBA from MIT Sloan where he focused on entrepreneurship and finance. From 2011 to 2014, Rob pursued a strategy of “entrepreneurship thru acquisition.”

In 2011, Rob launched an investment vehicle, Rail Fence Capital, focused on acquiring a small business ($5-25M in revenue). He launched the fund in 2011 backed by a group of private investors. As a sole operator, Rob developed the key investment theses that drove his proprietary sourcing strategy. There were 12 industries that he explored deeply and over 10,000 businesses that he reached. Rob performed all due diligence and financial and operational analyses. After operating a disciplined search that tallied 7 LOIs but no acquisition, Rob decided to end the fund for lack of satisfactory opportunities to pursue in February 2014.

Following Rail Fence Capital, Rob joined Privia as a sales director. At Privia he worked his way into a national strategy role and then to business development for a fast growing start-up in healthcare (Privia Health).

Rob has also worked in manufacturing as a shop floor supervisor, supply chain manager, lean implementation consultant and other operational roles for United Technologies.

Rob also studied international politics and played lacrosse at Georgetown University. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and four children.
